The Diamond 8 Plus is a high-capacity (650 lbs) alternating “micro” low air loss mattress replacement system designed to prevent and treat Stage I–IV pressure wounds, especially in the coccyx and lower back. It features an advanced 3:1 alternation cycle with 18 deep figure‑8 cells that maintain constant support, a 21‑minute pre-set cycle, and a built‑in two‑hour battery backup. The mattress provides five comfort settings, static and auto-firm modes, and visual/audio alarms for safety. Its vapor‑permeable cover wicks away moisture through 20 micro air loss openings, and the lower cell layer stays inflated up to 72 hours during power loss.
