Delivery & setup across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland
We deliver and set up medical equipment from Victoria to Campbell River and from Vancouver to Hope. Delivery and setup is priced by area and equipment type — from $100 for a small item in Greater Victoria to $450 for a lift chair in Chilliwack — charged once per order however many items are on it, with GST on the delivery fee only.
Every price on this page covers the trip, carrying the item into the room it will be used in, assembling it, plugging it in, running it through its functions with you, and taking the packaging away. Nothing is left in a box by the door.

Prices in Canadian dollars. GST (5%) is charged on the delivery fee. Somewhere not listed? Ask and we will quote it.
How the pricing works
- By area. The further from Victoria, the more the trip costs. Greater Victoria and the Saanich Peninsula, south to Mill Bay, is the base rate.
- By equipment type. A lift chair is a heavy two-person carry; a commode is not. So each equipment type has its own rate, and beds, tilt chairs and lift chairs cost more to deliver than mattresses, lifts and bath safety items.
- Once per order. Two or three items to the same address is one trip, so you pay the dearest item's rate once. A bed plus a mattress to Nanaimo is $200, not $350.
- GST on delivery only. The equipment price is the price; 5% GST is added to the delivery fee.
- Trial fittings. A one-hour wheelchair fitting has its own delivery rate, shown in the last column, on top of the $150 trial fee that is refunded on purchase.

Lower Mainland
Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore; Richmond, Delta and Surrey; Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and the Tri-Cities; Chilliwack and Hope.

Before we arrive
- Clear the spot where the equipment will go, and the path to it — doorways, hallways, stairs.
- For a bed, have the mattress and bedding ready if you are not getting them from us, and tell us if the old bed needs to come out first.
- For a lift chair, allow a foot or two behind it to recline, and a power outlet within reach.
- For a fitting, have the person there, plus their clinician and a caregiver if they have them, and any chair they currently use.
Delivery questions
How much is delivery to Nanaimo?
Delivery and setup in Nanaimo is $200 for a hospital bed or wheelchair, $250 for a lift chair, and $150 for a mattress, patient lift or bath safety item, charged once per order.
How much is delivery to Vancouver?
Delivery and setup in Vancouver, Burnaby and the North Shore is $350 for any equipment type; Surrey, Delta and Richmond is $300 for a bed and $200 for bath safety; Chilliwack and Hope is $400 for a bed. The table above has every combination.
Do you deliver to Salt Spring or the Gulf Islands?
By arrangement. The Gulf Islands, the Sunshine Coast and the north Island are outside our standard areas, but we do go, with the ferry cost added. Ask with your location and we will quote it.
Can I pick it up myself instead?
We are set up for delivery and do not have a showroom or pickup counter. Delivery includes setup and testing in the room, which is worth having with a bed or a lift, and it is priced honestly. If pickup is genuinely the only option for you, ask and we will see what we can do.
Do you take the old equipment away?
If it is something we buy — a full-electric bed, a lift chair, a tilt or manual wheelchair, a patient lift — offer it to us on the sell page and we may take it on the same trip. Other items we cannot take; the not-accepted page suggests what to do with them.
